Figure 8 Cable – GYTC8A

GYTC8A  Φ250 fibers are positioned  in a loose tube which is made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the center as metallic strength member. The tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core, and then it is wraped with an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate(APL).  Additional strong stranded wires are applied. The cable is completed with a black PE sheath.

Charateristics

High tensile strength of stranded wires

Good mechanical and temperature performance

High strength loose tube tlhat ils lhydrolysis resistant

Special tube filling compound ensures a critical protection of fiber

Applications

Self-supporting aerial installation
